After eating our way through Europe & North America in 2015 we developed the concept of Wallace & Wood in response to the lack of true artisan ice cream in our home town. Some of the ice cream we ate on our travels stopped us in our tracks and we wanted to bring that type of quality to the Sunshine Coast.

We make a French custard ice cream using simple pantry ingredients-Maleny milk & cream, egg yolks & raw sugar. Our vegan ice cream mimics this dense &  creamy style by blending organic cashew milk, organic coconut cream, cocoa butter and raw sugar.

Sugar is kept as low as possible without compromising structural integrity and the ice cream is churned with a low overrun so you get more ice cream and less air in each scoop.

Our ice cream is made from scratch in the little Bokarina Kitchen-that-could. Our product is unique because we also bake, simmer and roast our mix-ins from scratch using meticulously sourced ingredients.

Ice cream is a treat, something we gift to our loved ones or to ourselves, so why not honour this by crafting each scoop as special as we can!
